Copyright Policy

This Copyright Policy explains how Outfitma handles allegations that content on the platform infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
This policy applies to all content on Outfitma, including photos, videos, text, captions, previews, thumbnails, downloadable files, profile content, and any other material posted, uploaded, sold, streamed, displayed, or shared through the platform.
This Copyright Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Creator Terms, Content License, Commerce Policy, Community Guidelines, and Acceptable Use Policy. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Service control unless a document expressly states otherwise.
1. Our Copyright Approach
Outfitma respects intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same.
Creators are responsible for making sure that the content they upload or sell on Outfitma does not infringe the rights of others. This includes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, and any other applicable rights.
If we receive a valid complaint that content may infringe copyright, we may remove or disable access to that content, notify the relevant user, and take further action under our policies and applicable law.
2. What This Policy Covers
This policy covers claims that content on Outfitma infringes copyright.
It may also be used for related rights issues, including:
- unauthorized copying of photos, videos, or written materials;
- reposting content without permission;
- unauthorized use of fashion images, lookbooks, or styling materials;
- unauthorized use of downloadable files or guides;
- unauthorized redistribution of paid content; and
- substantially similar conduct that violates copyright law.
3. How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on Outfitma infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our copyright contact.

Note on US DMCA Designated Agent: Outfitma has not yet registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until such registration is completed, team@outfitma.com serves as Outfitma’s copyright contact for receiving copyright infringement notices. Outfitma does not currently claim the benefit of the DMCA safe harbor under 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Your notice should include the following:
Your contact information
Your full name, mailing address, email address, and any other information we may reasonably need to contact you.Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.Identification of the allegedly infringing material
A URL, post link, screenshot, account name, or other clear information that allows us to locate the material on Outfitma.A good-faith statement
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.A statement of accuracy
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.A statement that you are authorized to act
A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.Your signature
A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
4. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
When we receive a copyright complaint, we may do any of the following, depending on the circumstances:
- remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content;
- limit the visibility of the content while we review the complaint;
- notify the user who uploaded the content;
- request additional information from the parties involved;
- preserve records related to the complaint; and
- take further action under our Terms of Service, Creator Terms, or Community Guidelines.
We are not required to resolve ownership disputes ourselves. If the parties disagree, they may need to resolve the matter directly or through legal channels.
5. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed or disabled because of a copyright complaint and you believe the complaint was mistaken or invalid, you may send us a counter-notice.
Your counter-notice should include:
Your contact information
Your full name, mailing address, email address, and any other information we may reasonably need to contact you.Identification of the removed material
A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.A statement under penalty of perjury, where applicable
A statement that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.Consent to jurisdiction, where applicable
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts that apply under the Terms of Service for resolving the dispute, or any other statement required by applicable law.Your signature
A physical or electronic signature of the person submitting the counter-notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the person who submitted the original complaint and handle the matter in a manner consistent with applicable law and our policies.
6. Repeat Infringers
Outfitma may terminate or restrict the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or who repeatedly submit invalid or abusive copyright complaints.
When deciding whether to take action, we may consider:
- the number of complaints;
- the seriousness of the conduct;
- whether the user acted intentionally;
- whether the user has previously been warned; and
- any other relevant circumstances.
7. False or Abusive Complaints
Do not abuse the copyright complaint process.
You must not:
- submit false claims;
- misidentify content intentionally;
- use copyright complaints to harass another user;
- use copyright complaints as a business tactic to suppress lawful competition; or
- submit a complaint without having authority to do so.
If we believe a complaint was knowingly false or abusive, we may reject it, preserve records, suspend accounts, or take other action permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Content
Outfitma may contain links to third-party websites or content hosted elsewhere. We do not control third-party websites or their content.
A complaint about content outside Outfitma must generally be directed to the relevant third party or service provider.
9. User Responsibility
If you upload content to Outfitma, you represent and warrant that you have the rights needed to do so.
This includes, where applicable:
- rights in the photographs or videos you upload;
- permission from any people shown in the content;
- permission from any photographer, videographer, designer, model, brand, or rights holder involved; and
- any other permissions needed to use, publish, sell, or license the content.
Creators are responsible for resolving disputes with collaborators, photographers, clients, or other rights holders.
10. Our Limited Role
Outfitma is a platform provider. We do not automatically verify the ownership status of every item uploaded by every user.
We may act on notices, counter-notices, and repeated infringement patterns, but we do not promise to adjudicate every copyright question or resolve every dispute between users.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time.
If we make a material change, we may notify users by email, dashboard notice, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Outfitma after the updated version becomes effective means you accept the updated version, to the extent permitted by law.
